Cabin Guide

Our cabins are self-catering, so we encourage guests to bring along their own drinks, snacks and treats to enjoy during their stay. Each cabin is equipped with a kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave oven, crockery, cutlery and a bottle opener along with towels, robes and a hairdryer.

Our cabins are fitted with a thermostat. Adjust to your preferred temperature and kindly turn off when not in cabin.

Before use, please remove the lid. The hot tub is already filled with clean water. There are taps beside each, if more water is needed. Using the matches provided, open the door to the heater firebox and light the kindling & firewood. Close this door once lit.

Please allow up to a minimum of 60 – 90 minutes for the water to reach an enjoyable and safe temperature. You can add more firewood as needed. Ensure the lid is placed back on the hot tub after use. Please enjoy the hot tub responsibility.

The cabin is set up with Netflix, BBC iPlayer, ITV, All4 and My5. For Netflix, simply log in with your own details and remember to sign out before you leave.

The cabin is fitted with a number of lights. There is a bedside light along with a touch lamp on the table. If the touch lamp does need charged, there is a USB lead under the sink. Please switch off all lights when leaving your cabin.

Kindly note, that the laneway outside your cabin is for drop off only. Once you’ve settled in, please park your car at either the top or the bottom of the laneway.

There is a strict no smoking policy in the cabins. If you do smoke, please step outside and away. We ask that you kindly clean up any cigarette butts.

Please kindly ensure all outside noise, including music, has ended by 10:30 PM in respect of neighbouring cabins.

When driving around the estate, we kindly ask that you keep to a 5mph speed limit. We have animals, geese, swans and birds that often roam the grounds.

We kindly ask that you are mindful and respectful to your cabin neighbours, our residents and animals on the property.

We are dog friendly. Dogs must be on a lead at all times when not inside your cabin. You are responsible for your dog and behaviour at all times whilst at Florida Manor & Birch Cabins. Dogs are not permitted to sleep on the beds.

Fire Extinguisher: Each cabin has its own fire extinguisher if required. Please take a moment to locate this.

Your check out time is 11am.

• Towels: Please place all used towels into the basket in the bathroom.

• Dishes & Rubbish: Wash any used dishes and pop them back in their shelves or drawers. Please dispose of any rubbish into the bins provided.

• Lights, Thermostat & Hot Tub: Make sure all lights, thermostat and the hot tub are switched off.

• Key: Kindly lock your cabin door and place your key back in its lockbox.
